About me

The image featured at the top of the about us page #2

I’m Ira, an artist and illustrator with a background in architecture. My architectural education developed spatial thinking, and attending nude sketching classes made me consciously turn toward drawing. Today, I continue to draw people with love and tenderness. I create story-driven images for media, brands and printed materials. My practice spans two visual approaches - one is vivid, figurative, and expressive; the other is graphic, schematic, and conceptual.

I’ve illustrated for Palindrome Bureau, Unilever Rus, Yandex.Eda, MTS, Nutella, Edadeal, HeadHunter, Magnit Cosmetic, Astra Charitable Foundation, Syntaxis Bureau and others.

Themes: psychology, mindfulness, feminism, social issues, ecology, education.

What I'm interested in:

Collaborations with brands

A brand-artist collaboration: creating a visual language together for campaigns, digital, and print.

Working with authors, publishers, media

I would like to work with authors and editors to build illustrations that support the narrative - from book covers to editorial stories.

Working with a professional artist's agent

I’m open to representation: I want to focus on the creative work and leave negotiations, contracts, and project management to a professional.
